A client once asked if I could build them a Wordle-style puzzle game that would “go viral." They needed it the next day. I wanted to say, "If I could create a new insanely popular word game in a single day, I would have already done that and I wouldn't be working for you." Instead I said, “I'll give it a shot." Then, as often happens, before I started working on the game, my client got a new request from their client and subsequently asked me for something else entirely.
The idea of making a puzzle game stuck with me, though, and this is the result. I'm a big fan of NYT's Connections and classic Word Ladder puzzles (which, fun fact, were created by Lewis Carroll in 1877). I see this as a kind of fusion of the two. New puzzles come out every day, and I'll keep making them until I run out of four letter words or get too busy. Check it out!
