A short play for four actors, two of whom are aliens

When I was a kid, my dad would tell me bedtime stories about two aliens named Geek Geek and Woob Woob who’d land in our backyard and take me on adventures. A few decades later, after getting a degree in philosophy and working as a science teacher, I wrote him this play for his 75th birthday.
It follows Atomic Andy, a traveling science presenter who accidentally opens a portal to a higher dimension while getting ready for an assembly full of elementary schoolers. Two aliens, Giik-gēk and Woob-wūb, appear, surprised that Andy can see them. Their conversation about curiosity, consciousness, and the limits of human understanding leaves him questioning if humanity will ever have access to objective truth.
