This website is built to share my work and projects. It is designed to be as privacy-friendly and minimal as possible.
No Tracking Cookies
This site does not use cookies. No advertising pixels, tracking beacons, or cross-site identifiers are stored in your browser.
Local Storage for UI State
This site uses localStorage and sessionStorage for interface state, including intro timing, route transitions, game progress, and the simulated game conversation, including answers you type. Game answers are processed locally in your browser and are not sent to Ben.
Privacy-First Analytics
Aggregate visitor metrics are measured using GoatCounter, an open-source, privacy-preserving web analytics tool. GoatCounter does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. IP addresses are hashed with a daily salt and are never stored in raw form.
Server Logs & Hosting
Like virtually all web hosts, the servers hosting this static site generate standard access logs containing technical request data (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and request timestamp) for security and operational monitoring under legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Direct Communications
There are no contact forms on this site. If you reach out via email (e.g., to Ben@BenDeeb.com or Ben@OverlayDynamics.com), your email address and message contents are received directly by Ben Deeb and used solely to respond to your inquiry.
